Hello-hello! We’re back with some exciting projects to announce!
How was your February? To be honest, I don’t really remember too much of it but fragments of random stuff… —_—) I've been very busy lately, and I would love to have this time to explain you all what I'm going to be working on in the next couple of months. Sometimes I feel very saturated with everything, but some other times I feel very blessed I've these many opportunities!
But before everything, our friend Mary is in trouble, but her friend Abby showed up on time to help her.
(I’m going to be posting the pages on my portfolio too, in case you only want to read the newsletter comic: over here <3)
Don’t worry Mary, you just need some guidance to start working on the newsletter. Keep it up!
“Bibi” Volume 1, a month later after the release
This is so exciting, my newest comic “Bibi” is finally out! We made a special newsletter post about it, and it’s been a month it has been out there ^ o ^) Did you read it? Which part was the most interesting to you? I would love to heard back from everyone who already got it!
"Bibi", volume 1 (2022-2023)
100 pages.
You can now grab it digitally as PDF per 10 eur / usd
Bibi is a story about a kid who's kinda lost in life, about decisions people choose for us at an early age and the ignorance of being too young. If you’re the kind of person who’s stuck in the past or live in loop the day you realized you can take your own choices, maybe there’s something you would do different. Am I right?
There’s nothing wrong in trying, and I know it’s scarring to move forward, this is the last time you will raise your voice but don’t be greedy.
The time has stopped, you can now repeat that day you can’t forget.
I ended up printing a total of 65 copies, it was very limited, and 30 digital PDF purchases. All the orders were shipped already, thank you so so much for giving it a chance! If you somehow forgot about it, it’ll always be on my kofi as a digital download, so feel free to support it to help me keep up with the project.
Summary of February’s work
Well now it’s time to write about everything -I’ve been working on some stuff I’m finishing this week, so I’ll include the rest on March’s summary- First, the wallpaper of the month is another Ghibli movie, this time is “The cat return”. I didn’t watch this movie before, so I’ve to say it was a kind surprise! I really liked it, and I’m very happy I’m using the excuse of these wallpapers to watch all the Ghibli movies. Not only that, but I still have a few more to watch, to be precise, the sad ones! Please hold my hand, I don’t know if I’m ready for such a roller coaster of feelings!
These wallpapers are for Patreon but later, posted at Kofi. Whenever I’ve two new wallpapers, I share them out of this wall paid site. If you want to check them out, they’re for sale individually at my shop or either join my Patreon to grab the one you like the most.
What else? I don’t know if you remember this from last time, but I’m working on a new comic that will be published in France! Last time I showed a pile of pages as I finished linearting it, so this month I’ve been editing and finishing the dark tones of these. I’m ready to start coloring now! I’m very excited to show it, but I’ve to be patient and wait a little longer. It’s going to be my first European comic, more than hyped to see that someone from here finally sees my work. I’ll do my best too!
Besides, this beautiful project called “Sun and Moon” run by Noc was recently announced at their twitter account, and I’ll be drawing an illustration for it! The idea of this project is drawing a pair of characters that resonates with the sun and moon theme, this can lead to a more ship vision, so after seeing what the other guys were choosing I decided to make an illustration of one of my favorite childhood animes. Wait for it! ANd please follow both of the accounts, Noc is a very hardworking person and the best organizer ever <3
And finally and to conclude this summary, I’m taking part of another anthology and a Spanish magazine that both will be announced very soon! I even have some other works I can’t talk about so as you see, I’m very busy to the point I forgot February has fewer days than the rest of the months! Oh no, I’ve to run now but before I leave, my monthly recommendation~~
Recommendation of the month
This time is a self-published artbook released via Kickstarter!
“Journey, please don’t cut my wings” is an artbook by Nanahii (@nanahiiart), features old art I’ve never seen before along with her newest illustrations- to this day, it’s a very charming book! It also comes with a small art tutorial and shows bits of her workspace, it’s very cute… (we have the same printer *stares directly to your eyes*) the entire art book resonates with a very nice vibe, and it’s very surprising to see such high quality of printing. Besides, it’s a hardcover book!! WHA?!?
I would love to make something similar with my art too, it shows so much care and dedication. It’s truly inspiring to see artist doing this kind of stuff with their own art, don’t you think? Check Nanahiiart socials (twitter / instagram) and follow her, she deserves all the good stuff <3 I’m cheering for you Nana, we got you!!
That’s all for now, see you next month with more!
